Date: Tuesday, June 26, 2007Time: 10:30 a.m.-11:15 a.m. Title: Securing VoIP

I will be speaking next week at the CSI tradeshow...

I will be speaking next week at the CSI tradeshow. I'll do my best to educate network security professionals on how to preemptively and proactively protect their VoIP Networks at Computer Security Institute's Annual Conference. I will present the session entitled "VoIP Security" in the Critical Issues track. Network security and IT professionals will gain insight into how Voice over IP (VoIP) systems are the new target of hackers, exploiters, malware and cyber criminals. In this session, they will learn how to proactively defend these systems and protect their networks.

Session Title: Securing VoIP
Date/Time: Tuesday (November 7, 2006) 3:15pm — 4:15pm
Track: Critical Issues
Presentation Format: 60-minute Session

"VoIP networks are not very secure by default and, as a result, are susceptible to poor call quality, denial of service, breaches of privacy, integrity and availability," said Gary Miliefsky, Founder & CTO of NetClarity. "Securing VoIP is quickly becoming a serious concern for IT professionals. They need to take preemptive, proactive measures to harden weak network assets, in particular, their new VoIP gateways.

I will make freely available, three new White Papers during the conference: Securing VoIP, Laws of Exploits and Heuristic Security Testing Methods at:
